I've been a medical transcription for about 15 years now. I have had this poem for a long while, 

In the middle of the night
Light from the monitor glows
Trying to get just one more done
His fingers will never slow

We built trust, we do the best, we rebuilt they nest!
We always, pray for their recovery!!
We always, pray for miracle in their life!!

He knows his work is important
Not to the supervisor or company or rest
But for the patient that is a waiting
For the doctor to reveal stats from the test

When over their headsets
The sounds were so jumbled
He couldn’t quite make out
The words that were mumbled.

Not seen by many more others
Many things he must be
A mentor, A Wikipedia, A typist, A dictionary, A translator
With little time to be free

Always there when needed
knowing that he could save they life
He is the unsung hero
always willing to work regardless of strife
